Buying Guide

General Tips

  • When selecting the dimensions for your custom cabinet, please consider any doorways, stairs, hallways or other tight spaces your cabinet may need to maneuver through for delivery. Download our Fit Guide for more information
  • Measure any items you wish to store in your custom cabinet to ensure they will fit within the interior dimensions. Select inserts with cord openings to accommodate electronic cords and cables.
  • To see all available Hudson Custom Cabinet sizes, go to the Cabinet Sizes tab. To see the interior dimensions of all storage inserts, go to the Inserts tab.
  • All shelves are adjustable using removable shelf pins.

TV & Media Storage

  • Please note that most remote controls will not work through wood doors. IR remotes will work through glass doors.
  • Consider the width and height of your TV to ensure both the proportion and viewing comfort for your space.

Clothes Storage

  • A depth of 24" is required to use the removable wardrobe bar.
  • From the top of the wardrobe bar to the floor of the storage insert is 39 3/4".
  • Wardrobe bar comes standard in maple or birch regardless of cabinet finish.

Dining and Kitchen Storage

  • Please note that the lacquer finish is susceptible to moisture and heat damage. Use trivets and coasters and wipe spills immediately.
  • Most drawers can be upgraded to full-extension undermount soft-close glides for an additional cost.

Office Storage

  • File drawers feature standard full-extension ball-bearing glides. You can upgrade most file drawers to full-extension undermount soft-close glides for an additional cost.
  • Most file drawers can be configured for letter or legal files.
