KleinReid artisans create the Althea collection exclusively for Room & Board in their New York studio. Each piece goes through a 28-step process, including mixing porcelain and glazes from proprietary recipes and hand finishing every vessel. Midcentury Danish design inspired Althea’s soft silhouette. The custom glaze provides a warm organic tone. Admire Althea individually as a centerpiece, or arranged in a group.
In 1993, artists James Klein and David Reid began collaborating with a vision of creating objects they love and to have fun doing it. The artisans at KleinReid create each porcelain piece by hand in their New York studio using a 28-step process.
