Outdoor Tile

Tile is not scratch-proof; use coasters and pads to avoid scratches.

Clean spills immediately to avoid staining. Use water and a mild dish soap, cleaning with a sponge, cloth, or soft bristle brush. You may also use a neutral pH cleaner specified for tile. Do not use cleaning products that contain acids like vinegar or lemon juice. Rinse and dry with a towel after cleaning.

Outdoor tile is sealed for protection against moisture, heat and cold. Sealants usually last up to two years and then need reapplication. Test your sealant's durability by splashing water on your tile. If it beads and doesn't absorb, your tile is properly sealed.

Reapply sealant using a penetrating tile sealer such as Aqua Mix Sealer's Choice Gold and follow the instructions on the label.
