Sturdy, good looking and has everything we need to get in/out of the house quickly in a small space. Would buy again. Also love that students created the design.

Beautiful, modern, well built piece. It's a keeper!

The bench and rack combo is great! Looks really nice :)

This is the perfect bench for our entryway. It looks great and fits well in our 1920s home, but would work with a variety of styles. We love how sturdy it is, and the coat rack doesn't take up too much space, but gets the job done.

Got a matching left/right set and they are well made as everything is from Room and Board!

Great decorative piece and functional in a small space

I saw this at the store and knew I had to have it. When it was delivered it came fully assembled but one leg is shorter than the others. The delivery guy had some furniture pads with him so he put one on the offending leg and now it doesn't wobble anymore. Overall it feels sturdy, looks great and can handle a lot of weight (I've got 5 coats on it), but I feel like for the price all legs should be the same size. I still like it enough not to return though. I would only recommend it if it were on sale. #sweepstakes

Perfect & practical entryway piece. Large bench to sit on and tie shoes, ample hooks to hold bags and coats, and bench is high enough for additional storage underneath. Very sturdy and free standing; I know this will be following me to my next apartment!

We bought this for a nook near the front door of our two-bedroom apartment. It seemed more pricey than necessary, but we've had good experiences with other recent Room and Board purchases and so decided to go for it out of loyalty. Unfortunately, it was not assembled properly. The biggest flaw was that the lower hook was facing the back side (contrary to the photos on the website), so it was bumping up against our wall and not really usable. We also noticed a missing screw on the back post, and while we were examining that, another screw fell out! Finally, the bench was a little wobbly and uneven. When we went to Room and Board to report these problems, they encouraged us to return it rather than exchange it, so we did. (We then went down the street to another furniture store and bought a separate bench and coat rack for about $200 less!)

Absolutely love the Room & Board coat rack. I live in a small NYC apt, so it fits in nicely. I'm able to hang some items, which clears up my closet and allows me to park some shoes underneath. #sweepstakes
