Room & Board blankets are available in a range of sizes, depending on the style. You’ll find twin, full/queen and king sizes to outfit every bed in your home with modern blankets made from high-quality fabric that will withstand the rigors of daily use.
Room & Board Blanket Colors and Patterns
Choose from a variety of colors, designs and motifs to fit your style. Stripes, chevrons, plaids and plain solid colors fit into a variety of color schemes and decors. Many of our blankets can be matched with pillow shams for cohesive look. Or mix and match blankets and shams for a unique look that’s truly yours.
Blanket Materials
Room & Board offers blankets made from cotton, wool fleece, linen and some fabric blends designed to be soft and breathable. All of our blankets are made from high-quality materials, and choosing the right material depends on what you want. Wool is warm and breathable (and we offer machine-washable wool). Fleece and flannel are also very warm but not as breathable as wool. Cotton is a classic material beloved for its softness and breathability. Linen is the most breathable of any material but slightly less soft than certain cottons. Each fabric type has advantages, and you can simply experiment with mixing and matching your favorite fabrics.
Bedding Materials by Season
For the summer, you may only want a sheet and a thin blanket made from cotton or linen. For the winter (or the summer with air conditioning) you may want a sheet, comforter and top blanket. Experiment and mix and match materials to find your ideal combination. Add more blankets for more warmth. Many of our wool blankets begin with wool from family-owned farms, which is then woven by talented artisans into blankets that are the ultimate in comfort and softness. We also offer blankets with the unparalleled combination of warmth and convenience that washable wool offers so you can avoid dry cleaning.
