The first wood stool had two black holes against a blond wood; I returned it and the replacement was excellent. The first Chilton 72 dining room table had a 6" long resin filled gouge, 1" at its widest point. There were bubbles in the resin and the surface wasn't sanded smooth. You could feel unevenness. They will tell you that "every piece is different; that's the nature of real/raw edge wood." But this was poor craftsmanship. I returned it and selected another of the options. The second table had a beautiful surface but it was warped. A photo of a straight edge on top of the table revealed a noticeable warp. Again, this is not a "every piece is different" issue; this is poor craftsmanship. I then selected a third Chilton table; this time, we asked for a supervisor's inspection before having it shipped to me; a good decision as this table had a crack. Now, this is the fourth selection... we will see if it passes leadership inspection..... and how this will all end - hopefully with higher than one star. They need better quality control, I think. The table in the showroom was beautiful.

This stool is perfect! I spent a lot of time looking online and in stores for a low stool for our recently remodeled primary bathroom/dressing area. I wanted something to sit on to put on shoes, socks, etc. As soon as I saw this on the showroom at Room & Board, I knew it would be perfect. I love it!

This stool is very sturdy and solid. It's a comfortable and attractive addition to our foyer. I'm glad I checked with Room&Board!

I have been on a search to find the perfect stool to place by the front door so we all had a place to sit while putting on shoes. It's the perfect height, weight and depth - works for everyone and has also been used throughout the house to seat extra people or pulled up next to the table to help with homework. Great quality. Love the color too. For some reason I assumed the wood would be more matte but it's got a subtle laquer sheen that actually looks quite nice. Would definitely recommend.

These are beautiful stools in two colors. sturdy enough to be used for convenient extra seating, but also light weight and easy to move around. The surface is not completely flat so it's not ideal for serving food or drink, otherwise very versatile and simply gorgeous as furniture.

This is the perfect size for our Manhattan apartment with a small entryway. It's made with a quality wood material, is a great height for putting on/taking off shoes yet takes up little depth in our narrow entryway.

This stool is perfect for a tight space. Great in a closet or bathroom. Would work well in a kid room too. Nice simple lines. Well-made and sturdy. Dark brown, almost black finish. Super happy with this purchase!!!

This stool is the perfect height and size to sit and play guitar and small enough not to take up to much room in a City apartment. I like the arch in the seat, which is comfortable to sit and the legs are stable. It is a bit pricey, but I am happy I bought it.

It appeared well made and felt sturdy but was too small for my space and ended up looking like a toy so I returned it. Because of it's size I though it was expensive.
