I have a small apartment, so my laundry basket has to sit in my hallway for everyone to see. This is a lovely, well made basket. It is very sturdy, and heavy, but not so heavy that I can't easily move it around using the hand slots on each side when it is full. It is the perfect size to hold a set of queen size sheets and two weeks worth of clothes and towels. The basket is smooth to the touch. I love that the weaver's name is on a little cotton label at the bottom of the basket!

This lidded basket is so well-done and so attractive. It's a lovely piece to have in my den. I also like supporting local artisans in various countries who work hard to support their families.

Love this basket.

It was very difficult to find a well-made basket! So many cheap versions, and yet trying to pay for quality would sometimes run hundreds of dollars. This basket was the perfect middle ground price-wise, and I'm delighted by the quality. Wish i bought more than 1 (within the same shipping cost)!

It was so ugly looking at a bundle of cables in the corner of my living room. This basket was the perfect solution. Now the cables are hidden in this beautiful basket. Visually much more pleasing.

This basket is substantial, incredibly well made and adds personality to my living room. I've received many comments on it already! Highly recommend to anyone looking for an attractive storage piece.

Using as laundry basket. I love it, very durable, and well made as expected from Room and Board

I line this a lot. I use it to hide cable TV router. It's well made and very nice looking.

Sturdy, and a nice size to hold household items. You can flip the lid upside down and use it as a surface to place items on. #sweepstakes

Sturdy and beautiful. 15 diameter is a nice size for holding laundry or other household items. You can also flip the lid upside down and use it as a surface to place items on. #sweepstakes
