Sturdy shelf. Love the contemporary design

This shelf is just what I was looking for to complete a modern powder room. It is beautiful...but it is very difficult to install. I managed to install the brackets without issue - and appreciated the inclusion of sturdy metal drywall anchors - but the problem comes when inserting the actual glass shelf onto the brackets. There is only a VERY thin "lip" on the glass that fits into the slots on each bracket. So thin, in fact, that the piece of glass barely seemed secure between the brackets. I understand that this is not meant for heavy weight, but honestly I wouldn't have even felt comfortable putting small items on it. The glass seemed like it could have given way at anytime. This MIGHT have been able to be fixed by moving one bracket about 1/8 of an inch closer to the other...but the drywall anchors make such large holes that such a move is basically impossible. It's simply not worth the frustration, and so I'll unfortunately be returning this and choosing another R&B shelf that is backed by solid reviews.
