How To Choose an Armoire or Wardrobe
Armoires are taller bedroom storage pieces with drawers on the bottom and large doors on the top that open to reveal a clothes hanging bar. Wardrobe, bedroom cabinet and armoire all mean the same thing: closed bedroom storage, usually with a clothes hanging bar. Sometimes wardrobes only have store for hanging clothes, and sometimes bedroom cabinets only have shelves, but all of these terms speak to closed bedroom storage intended for clothing. Choose an armoire over a dresser if you need clothes hanging storage. Your clothing storage needs may require both an armoire and dresser if you don’t have much closet space, or you may need to downsize to just your essential favorites.
When choosing an armoire or wardrobe, first measure your space and choose bedroom storage that doesn’t crowd your space but still gives you the storage you need for the clothing you need.
