Bruin

I got the Bruin 16h table lamps for my nightstands and they looks great and feel high quality. My one complaint is that it's hard to turn them on manually - you have to contort your hand under the lamp shade and grope around for the dial. I ended up putting smart bulbs in them to use with a voice assistant, so not the end of the world. #sweepstakes

We visited so many stores in the area and really liked the selection at Room and Board. We bought few items to use in our new apartment.

The lamp is attractive, the right size and design for the Room and Board console where the television sits. However, It is difficult to turn on and off. The switch is located under the lamp shade. You either have to reach up and under the shade or reach down to reach the switch. If you can handle this hiccup it is a good purchase.

We have a lot of R&B pieces in our home. Among my favorites are our R&B lamps--they are functional works of art with great attention to detail and the user experience. The Bruin lamp is no exception! The lamp is both understated and beautiful and it throws the absolute coziest light. The dimmer is extremely responsive. One special note. The shade is described as ivory. It's a really warm, cozy ivory -- which is a definite plus, as many R&B "white" lampshades are far too cold and stark for me. This lamp really enhances our space and while pricey, I would purchase it again in a heartbeat.

I was looking for an excuse to buy this once I saw it online. Really nicely made. Not very big though, so it won't work in every space.

Upon first entering the store, I knew immediately I was in a place that was a cut above. I was greeted by a well-spoken, friendsly and professional salesperson. After my preliminary questions were answered warmly, my wife and i roamed the showroom. We were impressed by the quality of the displays, and felt comfortable making two purchases without hesitation. There would be no buyer's remorse. The items we bought were unquestionably perfect. I actually hate shopping for cars and furniture. I wouldn't hesitate to return to Room and Board for future furniture needs.
