I love the look and feel of this piece! It's a great size for me and I'll enjoy it simply as a cutting board and a display for crudités and cheese. I also like the history and sustainability aspect of these boards. My only criticism is a familiar pet peeve of mine: the price sticker (I bought this in-store) was attached directly to the wood, thus leaving glue residue and a subtle but obvious mark on the handle. It's a shame that Room & Board would display and handle these gorgeous, timeless, and one of a kind pieces so thoughtlessly. And yes, I washed and oiled the board, removing the glue, but there is a mark left. I still love the particular grain of this board, so have no plans to return it. It may fade eventually, but I do think most people are like me and would prefer a pristine, unadulterated wooden object of beauty in their home and kitchen.

Purchased this wood board after a charcuterie event at the local store in Oakbrook. It's a beautiful, high quality board and great for hosting. Would make a lovely gift too. #sweepstakes

It's a beautiful board, suitable for display, serving, and bread. Looks just like the picture. The indicated diameter is the true size without the handle. Doesn't come with a hanging cord but that's easily remedied.
