Paul Nelson
Photographer Paul Nelson followed the migratory patterns of North American birds to capture a one-of-a-kind glimpse of their natural and captivating movements as they take off for flight. Paul takes the photographs using a portable high-speed camera rig he specifically designed for this project. His portrayal of birds in their natural habitats without the distraction of complex backgrounds strikes a balance that is both beautiful and intimate. Exclusive to Room & Board.

So very happy with my purchase!
Comments about Paul Nelson, Northern Cardinal Male 1, 2009, White
The photograph and frame exceeded my expectations.
The photo is beautiful with incredible detail and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the frame. I think the price is justified by the quality of the product.
I bought two of the larger photos and I'm going to buy a few smaller ones to place in various rooms around the house. If you love birds, this is for you.
I put two large photos next to each other in my kitchen and I love it.
The photograph came in very sturdy packaging and the frame was extremely well protected. Bonus, it came so quickly!

This is a strikingly beautiful photograph! I originally bought it because it blended with the Coto spice blend chairs I had purchased at Room and Board. I later exchanged the chairs for a different color but like the picture so much I kept it.

Elegant pop of color
Comments about Paul Nelson, Northern Cardinal Male 1, 2009, White
I have the whole series and it gets tons of compliments. We have them hanging in a room that is otherwise white and beige and they provide the perfect pop of color. The fram is slightly more delicate than what I would expect of something of this size, but that doesn't matter once they are on the way.

This set of photos are fantastic together!!!! I bought all 4, and hung them all together, I love that the colors feed off each other, and on my dark walls the white background is such a great contrast!!! The only con is I wish the plexi wasn't shiny. Otherwise, just perfect!!!
Delivery was UPS, easy, quick.
