We bought this lamp in 2021 for our entry way. It's a beautiful light and I loved it untill yesterday. We smelled a plastic/electrical burning and ran around the house to find the source. I finally narrowed it down to this lamp and when I removed the shade from the mount, I discovered that the bulb base had completely melted and fallen out of the lamp into the shade! The fixture is blackened and full of melted metal and plastic now and is ruined. Others here have said that the light isn't UL certified. I worry what would have happened if we weren't at home, especially because the mount is made of wood. Seems highly unsafe and I'm not happy with R&B for selling me this. It could've ended in disaster.

Our bedroom is eclectic but chinoiserie inspired…This beautiful flush mount reminded me of origami so we tried it out and it works perfectly. Even though it's incredibly unique and almost like a piece of artwork in the room, somehow it still manages to feel subtle.

Looks perfect in our kitchen, especially since the kitchen island was not centered and this light is subtle enough not to draw attention to the fact that all doesn't line up.

Love how it looks in my space. The quality is great!

This light costed a pretty penny but it's one of the few that stood out to me when shopping for statement ceiling lights. The alternatives were ceiling lights either looking cheap with fabric and plastic frames or made of paper. The light is easy to install yourself if you're used to installing ceiling lights to the junction box and connecting the wires with the end caps. I recommend this light for decorative and ambient purposes because the shade diffuses a lot of the light, so I'd say if you have a dimmer switch to get a bulb that outputs over 1000 lumens (usually 100W equivalent). Other bulbs we tested < 600 lumens were too dim for our liking, but we didn't have any between 600 - 1000 lumens for those who don't have dimmer switches. #sweepstakes

Absolutely love these lights, worth every penny! We get so many compliments on them #sweepstakes

This is a beautiful, well-made and easy to install light. We have it over our dining area, and it is perfect. It's definitely more of a decorative light, as opposed to a primary light source. Our dining area has a lot of natural light, so it's no big deal. If your room does not, it's something to keep in mind #sweepstakes

I bought one and combined it with a smart bulb and can add colors. Such a gorgeous light ended up buying a second one. Originally was afraid to buy because it doesn't mention that it's UL listed but the actual fixture does have the UL listed stamp, so it was fine. Electricians had no problem installing.

I love this light; puts out the right amount of light (but not super bright -- better for accent). Really easy to install. We have low ceilings and this is nicely low profile!

We love this light in our bedroom. It provides adequate light and is just beautiful and warm. It softens the space and makes it more relaxing. I would about this again.
