I had an electrician install this fan. Installation was quick. The fan is beautiful and blends into the ceiling. Got bothe the remote control and wall switch - both work well. Going to buy another two for other bedrooms. Definitely recommended!

fan blades appear a funny yellow color

An amazing improvement over the big box fan that was installed previously. Easy to install - my husband had no problem swapping out the old for the new. I expected that with three blades and their being shorter, that this fan would produce less air movement. Happily surprised. It also has a beautiful and minimalist design that blends into the ceiling. We love sleeping under it. Very quiet. The light is only OK. At over $500, I'm glad for me that overall, I'm happy with the end result. I think even given its lovely design, that that is expensive for a ceiling fan.

After this unit was installed, I noticed it randomly turning on. I thought it was installed incorrectly but the GC's electrician confirmed it was to spec and there were no contact shorts or other issues. I then emailed R&B and they asked me to contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer informed me that some of the wall switches have a defect where it randomly turns on the lights or fans (kind of crazy) due to a stray signal being sent in the device, and that they have a replacement wall switch with an update in the internal hardware/firmware that fixes it. I had the GC install that wall switch and it worked... ...for three months, up until today. Today we are seeing the same behavior with it randomly turning on again. (And no this is not due to neighbor interference — I have put it on all separate channels and the like. With it still randomly turning on). Not sure what to do at this point as I'm not looking to pay an electrician to install yet another defective wall control that the manufacturer will send me. I do not recommend this product due to the faulty hardware.

Its' simple, clean, and stylish.

Purchase two fans - one for living room (no light) and one for master bedroom (with light). They were installed by electrician. Great minimalist design that circulates air well with minimal noise and wobble.

I'm not going to keep this. I thought, based upon both the pictures and the description, that this was "Matte Nickel" - - - meaning it was METAL. It isn't - - - - it is spray painted wood, which will be a pain to clean and looks super cheap.

I was a bit hesitant to buy this fan given some of the reviews, and concern over the remote control. But it is fantastic -- at the highest setting, it circulates air really well and still does not wobble. I bought the remote control package and hired an electrician to install it. He had no trouble at all and it was up within about 20 minutes.
