The Rowland was a perfect solution to light to illuminate this corner of our house. We love that the pivoting arm allows us to open the lid of the piano while still having an overhead light. Easy and fast to put up.

I looked at the sconce for a long time before buying it. I i stalled it myself with butterfly toggles after the included anchors failed. Its very secure now. I did need to bend the shade a little bit so it was level. Thats wasnt too hard though. Its up now and i love how it diffuses light throughout the room. Great lamp.

We may have received a bad unit, however, the initial unit we received had a flickering light. Once we worked with Room&Board, we received a new light replacement that no longer flickers. Aside from this issue, this is a great purchase and was generally easy to mount and setup.

We needed a lamp that took up very little floor space but provided plentiful light for reading. We looked for over a year and finally found this wall sconce. It is just what we needed. Two very helpful customer service agents helped us connect with their lampshade supplier so that we could special order a shade in the cream color that matched our living room. They even let us keep the original shade a little longer before returning it so that we wouldn't go without one while we waited for our special order. I can't overemphasize how excellent the customer service was!

I have purchased a variety of furniture pieces over the years. First time ordering lighting fixtures. After installing one of these and mulling it over, I got another one for the same room. was worried it would be too matchy matchy but ended up looking great. Loved the tailored features that can mix with old and new furniture styles.

We had a difficult lighting issue in a corner of our new condo where our dining table is placed. Enid at the store in Skokie worked with us to come up with a creative solution and this sconce was it! It was easy to install and gives off a lot of light, will keeping a sleek profile. 10 out of 10.

Love this light and the fact that it has a dimmer, but the dimmer is very finnicky in that the dimming amount is not consistent with how far you rotate the dimmer. Often requires a little "playing" with the rotational dimmer to get it to the desired setting. I will also say that the storeroom model had a major issue with it falling off the wall mount when moving the light's arm from side to side. Thankfully, the one installed in my place does not have this issue, but I would be lying if I was not a bit concerned about that problem eventually developing.

I love the lamp but was surprised that the shade hangs off-level. It angles back towards the wall, by design. The shade is mounted by 3 screws and by loosening them I was able to make the shade hang in a level attitude. I don't believe the arm was bent in transit or that the unit is defective, it appears to be by design.
