We formerly had a R&B queen Metro sleeper sofa with an Air Coil Mattress (no longer available), but we were getting tired of blowing up the mattress and wanted a king size bed as well. The Berin was the only king size we found, and it took up less floor space then our prior queen sleeper sofa. We chose the pecan Cyrus leather, which is beautiful. The color is warm, rich but not too dark. I'm not sure how the leather or cushions will hold up since we have only had the sofa for a month. We also chose the metal legs, which makes the sofa sit higher off the ground since my husband is 6'5". However, this means my feet don't sit fully on the ground when I sit on it. The pull-out sofa mechanism is very easy for one person to use. We have had a couple of people use the sleeper, with some loving the mattress and others saying it was too hard. I plan on purchasing a mattress topper for those who want a softer feel. My main complaint is that there is a gap behind the cushions were you can see the black lining of the sofa bed underneath. Overall, I love that the sofa - with a king sized mattress - does not look like an ugly sleeper sofa. Even though the purchase was expensive, it will be worth it if it holds up over time.

The sleeper component is very comfortable, and the leather holds up really well, even with a small dog and a cat. Easy to clean and maintain. Howcwe, the back cushions have completely lost shape and are VERY uncomfortable. The seat cushions have formed divits, even after 3 years of consistent use. (Purchased in 2019, and was used infrequently. Consistent use from December 2021).

Very expensive, great quality sleeper we mostly use for sitting. Would buy again, but I hope the leather cushions become less firm over time. The leather scratches easily and my feet don't fully touch the floor when I'm sitting on it (unlike when I sat in the upholstered floor model). I'm 5'8". The sofa feet you choose will impact the seating height. Sleeper parts also slightly show through the cushions. Sleeper is easy to pull out solo and put back. Mattress is firm and the most comfortable I've tried (tested 10+ models across brands).
