Mosby

I needed something that could be sort of a "sometimes office" in my dining room. I picked walnut to match my table though it looks a bit lighter. At first I had concerns it was a laminate but it looks fine and serves as a desk and bar. I keep some of my stemless and hand blown glasses in the top shelves. I really needed the file drawer and printer storage though. Nice piece.

I am totally enamored with my Mosby desk/armoire combo. My space is limited and this was the perfect way to have room for a desk that also has a "hutch" but doesn't take up too much space. I also think it's beautiful in the Walnut wood finish. And it's very well constructed (as expected from Room and Board furniture). It's just perfect for our space and my needs. I'm also able to fit my large color laser printer on top of it and "hide" my computer and other items inside the armoire when not in use as a desk. I also like that there are no handles (it's all push open drawers) so my knees don't knock anything when I'm using it as a desk. One thing to note though is that I am careful not to lean or push too hard (or put anything too heavy) down on the piece that opens up and becomes a desk when working on the computer. Not an issue at all with my laptop, but something I wanted to point out given the nature of it being like a "floating" desk when the armoire is open so you wouldn't want to put too much weight on it. Overall, very happy with this purchase.

Great work from home option and it looks beautiful!

We purchased 2 to be our work from home stations in a dining room. Being able to close away our work items in order to entertain is a plus. However, we would have liked more file storage. The orientation of the file rails wastes several inches that could have held additional files.

Well made with stong hinges, only downside is drawer frames are not wood. Appear laminate.
