compact and comfy
Comments about Louise Chair
Very elegant and comfortable chair that goes with just about any style of decor. It is compact for small spaces but not too small to feel uncomfortable or look out of balance. I did not use a stock fabric and it was worth the wait.

I love this chair
Comments about Louise Chair
Sooo comfortable and great looking. I recommend getting it in velvet--it feels like a dream. Great reading chair. I buy all my furniture at R and B -- great investments in long term pieces.
Excellent delivery service.

Love, love, love!
Comments about Louise Chair
We purchased this chair in Vance Olive. The upholstery is stunning, and the chair is very comfortable. The scale is also perfect for our modest-sized family room.

Just what I wanted!
Comments about Louise Chair
I had just moved to Portland and wanted an additional living room chair. It needed to be small, comfortable, blue green and made in America. The Louise hit every point. It is lovely.

The Louise Chair is beautiful! #sweepstakes
Comments about Louise Chair
I was looking for a chair that would add some color and style to my living room, and decided upon the Louise chair. Since we're currently waiting for a custom couch delivery, we've been using the Louise chairs more than we might have otherwise, and I'm very pleased. Beyond looking great, they are comfortable, and the velvet fabric is soft to the touch. When you first stand up, you can see where you were sitting, but I've noticed that when I walk by a bit later, the fabric looks smoothed out and uniform once again. #sweepstakes

We love these chairs!
Comments about Louise Chair
Gorgeous. Comfortable, We picked Banks Lagoon for the upholstery, a deep aquamarine. The chairs have a charm and character which isn't really communicated in a photograph, works of art, gorgeously executed. We couldn't be happier.
The customer service is at a higher level than anything I've ever experienced. Jaime, the designer who helped us decide on these and a couch, saved us what could have been weeks of going back and forth about colors and fabrics. When I panicked that the couch we had chosen might not fit through the narrow entrance hall of the apartment, Room & Board suggested that I set up a 'Fit Zoom Call' with Matt, one of their experts who walked me through measuring everything from the downstairs entrance of the building, to the small elevator, to the stairway. If you're not in a hurry and you prefer, they can arrange for a Fit specialist to come to your place and do the measuring for you. As I understand it, there's no charge for even the in-person version of this service.
In my experience, Room & Board actually puts the customer first and stands by their beautifully made and strongly built furniture.
