Oxford

I am incredibly pleased with this sofa bed! I bought this daybed for my home office so that when guests come to stay, they have a more comfortable place to sleep than an air mattress on the floor. Since it arrived, it has far exceeded my expectations for it, and has become my favorite place to stretch out to read. The fabric is a beautiful color and so soft. The cushions are perfectly supportive. It is an ideal daybed for lounging. Our cat is also obsessed with it. This is the third sofa I've purchased from Room & Board (I bought my first apartment-sized sofa in 2008 and enjoyed it for many years; when we needed something bigger for our home, it looked as good as it did when it was new and we were able to pass it on to another family to use for many more years to come. We adore our current sectional from Room & Board, which we purchased in 2021), and based on my previous experiences with Room & Board craftsmanship, I knew when I started looking for a sofa bed that I wanted to order from them again. I continue to be absolutely delighted with my choice! #sweepstakes

First, I love the fresh green blue color, which I have accessorised with brick red scatter pillows and a crazy quilt. The piece is substantial, heavy and anchors the room under a big window. It is my favourite place to stretch out and read. I have had guests stay, a tall couple who swore it was comfortable serving as a bed, and even stayed a second night. But here is the only problem that I WILL figure out. Standard queen size sheets do not fit in any configuration. At least from the store brands I currently own. But yes, would buy again!

I was looking for an easily convertible day bed for my newly renovated home office - one that could flip out once or twice a year to a queen sized bed when we have guests. This is PERFECT. Easy to pop up, super comfortable for lounging on and taking naps in the middle of the day, and as usually, built to super high and consistent room & board standards. Love it.

Very comfortable and stylish!

As a sleeper sofa it is impossible to identify as such. It shows simply as a beautiful, what was in past times referred to as, a "Vintage Fainting Couch". It is delightful and serviceable addition to our home. It integrates beautifully and unobtrusively into our home.

This daybed is beautiful… great quality. Fits in my home office perfectly. The fold out mechanism couldn't be easier… I've had other day beds but none have been this solid and comfortable. Will be buying another for spare room.

I thought this was going to open to a proper queen size but it's way too short. The bed itself is 73" which is shorter than a twin. This will not be suitable for 75% of our guests which is extremely frustrating and disappointing. Based on the 87" and my visit to a R&B in another state where I was able to try out an Oxford sofa (the day bed was not on the floor) when I was advised that the day bed would be similar, I erroneously assumed this would function as a guest bed. It won't except for a short adult or child.

I love this sofa. It is elegant easy to clean and made with quality materials. It looks amazing in my living room. #sweepstakes

I love my new daybed for my office. The quality is fantastic as you would expect from Room & Board. It is so easy to pull out and make larger and looks great when not in use.

The couch is comfortable, good looking and the trundle pull out is so convenient!
