Disagree with picture accuracy, but good

Comments here are mostly to describe things in contrast to the photos provided. I would agree with other reviewers that the photographs make the most obvious stripes look green, and this is not green, it's mostly greys and almost blacks. The gray texture is fairly mottled and looks less 'clean' and smooth than the pictures seem to show. However I ordered this hoping it was also not green, so that's good. There's a tiny hint of pale green at the very bottom 1/8. It also appears more dense than the photos make it appear, like the watercolor had quite a lot of pigment in it and very thick paper was used (this is good, it doesn't appear like a really casual wash effect). There's a lot of kind of grey/graphite tones throughout. In all, it's less of a background picture than I thought. Framing is nice in aluminum, though the edges are slightly rough/sharp. If you like gray and are ok with things appearing darker and more gritty, I think there's more detail here than in the photos and that's good. If you want something lighter and softer looking, as the photos might imply, this is maybe not it for you.
