Woodwind

Beautiful piece. Sturdy and will hold up well. Screws for the handles were too long and I am still waiting on replacements—it's been 3 weeks.

Several years ago we purchased Room & Board book cases for our living room and love them so much that we added a media cabinet to match.

This cabinet is exactly what we were looking for. It fits perfectly in our space and looks great. The draws all work perfectly. The wood looks beautiful.

This media cabinet arrived just as pictured and is a perfect size for our space (and has a great amount of storage for our family room). The cherry is also a beautiful color (and hard to find at other retailers) #sweepstakes

This is clearly well made. The hardware is particularly noteworthy.

We love this new cabinet. It's the perfect size for our large television. It matches shelving units we purchased previously at Room and Board. It had a slight wood chip and the company quickly replaced it with a new one.

Well-crafted, beautiful piece of furniture. Jonathan L. was a great help in choosing the right piece. #sweepstakes

I got this in oak. This is an overall solid well-constructed media cabinet. It was delivered with a dented back corner and missed shelf hardware. I called Room and Board about the missing hardware and they mailed this to me separately. #sweepstakes

I like the design and size of this. The construction quality is ok. The back corner was a bit bashed in when delivered, but it's too much trouble to return. The hardware to put the shelves in was also missing at the time of delivery, but room and board sent these via mail later. #sweepstakes

After measuring my space five times to confirm, we ordered this unit and 2 of the matching bookcases for an alcove in our family room. Space we had = 103 1/2"; width of three units according to the website = 103" When they arrived, they didn't fit. This center console was not 55" but 55 3/4" wide! I can understand if it's 1/8" off because it is custom made, but come on! I work with wood and 3/4" discrepancy is just shoddy QC. The rep on the phone when we called with the delivery guys there said it was "only 3/4"" difference and offered to waive the $250 delivery if we'd keep it. Oh and they would not expedite a new one being made to spec -- it would be another 8+ weeks! I asked for the delivery fee AND $250 off, and she agreed. We had to cut into the house and remove one of the baseboards to make it fit -- even tho we plant to take it with us when/if we move. Frustrating, but didn't like the alternatives. I expect better from R&B so famed for their customer service. The unit is beautiful, no complaints there.
