Holmes

I like the esthetics and feel of this couch. We bought it in a light gray color five years ago when our kids were younger. We bought it this time in a darker shade of blue.

The sofa is beautiful and comfortable. What's unique is the service I received from R & B. They replaced the sofa that had some issues with great attitude. I recommend this merchant whole heartedly

Great value for the price. (Wish we'd picked a fabric a shade darker but still very pretty.) The performance chenille seems to be the only material other than the Pesaro leather that my cats cannot damage. So a great fit.

We love our new Holmes loveseat. It fits perfectly in our space and is super comfortable.

A firm, comfortable, and stylish sofa. Replaces the sofa we bought from R&B 20 years ago, which is still in great shape. The only disappointment was the wrinkles on the front of the two main sofa cushions, something not seen in the online photos of this sofa or on the in-store model. This could be the result of the rather stiff fabric we selected rather than construction. Appears very well made.

I absolutely love my new sofa! It has exceeded my expectations in every way. The fabric has a great texture that feels both luxurious and durable, and the firmness is just perfect—comfortable yet supportive. It's exactly what I was hoping for, and I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Highly recommend!

We purchased the Holmes 89" Sofa from Room & Board and have been extremely happy with it. The sofa has a very elegant, modern, mid-century look that instantly elevates the space without overwhelming the room or taking up too much visual space. The Sumner Graphite fabric gives it a clean, sophisticated feel that works beautifully with both contemporary and classic decor. Beyond the design, it is exceptionally comfortable and feels incredibly well made. The construction and materials give confidence that this is a sofa built to last for many years. It strikes a rare balance between style, comfort, and durability, making it one of the best furniture purchases we've made.

Exactly what I wanted - my previous sofa was also from R&B - I know the construction/fabric will last for years. Perfect

It is my fist bad experience with Room and Board as my sofa was squeaking badly right after delivery. I made an exchange and the second sofa squeaked as well. I the decided to have it repaired and it took two visits from the technician to remove the annoying noise. It looks like there is a lack of quality control after manufacture so it would be great if Room and Board could work with the manufacturer to improve on these issues.

Room & Board Holmes Sofa review: The Holmes sofa has a strong mid-century modern look that fits cleanly into a variety of spaces without feeling bulky. One of the standout features is how firm and supportive it is. The seating feels structured rather than overly soft, which makes it comfortable for long-term use without sinking in. It also works well in smaller rooms. The sofa has a relatively small footprint, so it doesn't dominate the space and is easy to place against a wall or in tighter layouts. The fabric quality is solid and doesn't crinkle or wrinkle easily, which helps it maintain a neat appearance with everyday use. Overall, it's a well-designed piece if you want a clean aesthetic, firm support, and efficient use of space. Don't hesitate to consider this sofa if those are your priorities.
