Linger

We love our new Linger sofa. It looks great and is super comfortable. And the shopping experience is so pleasant. We made an appointment with a designer; shared pictures of the room and what was in it; and let her know what we were looking for. We shopped in person at the NYC store and enjoy trying out the feel of different pieces and taking home fabric samples to check at home.

At first I was discouraged by the reviews of feathers coming out, but I couldn't find a sofa that fit me better than this one, so i bit the bullet and got it. Three months in and I'm absolutely loving it. I got one feather come out and i expect that might happen again, but the sofa is so comfortable and the chenille so pliable and lovely that I just don't care.

You get what you pay with this one. R&B always delivers top quality without surprises. Timeless piece that will last a lifetime with proper care

We are in love with this new couch. It's a great size -- not too deep like some styles of couches but also deep enough where you can fold your legs up and get cozy on the couch. The back pillows do need regular flipping to keep their shape but it's nothing too serious. We are always happy with everything we buy from Room and Board! #sweepstakes

I would recommend this sofa, it's served me well in a smaller living room and I find it comfortable and attractive. I bought the sumner ivory fabric as Room & Board claims this to be pet friendly. I've kept my sofa covered and yet the fabric is coming apart where my cats have scratched it only on a few occasions where they could get to it. I just feel like it should be more durable than that or the sumner fabric shouldn't be advertised as pet friendly. Overall I regret buying a fabric with a weave as I'll now likely have to replace the sofa earlier than I expected. I reached out to customer service and they said the wear and tear is normal which I kind of disagree with but I felt like I was speaking to AI when the agent recommended the fabric I have when I asked about what option would be more durable. Overall I'm pleased with the sofa but pet owners beware.

We love our new couch. The quality meets expectations and was worth the wait.

I looked everywhere for a comfortable sofa that fits in a small space. The down and foam cushions are both extremely comfortable and still supportive. I love the fact that it's made in the USA ! The material is durable And aesthetically pleasing. Would definitely buy this again.

I've had this couch over a year and feathers keep falling out. Cleaning is near impossible without professional cleaning. Back cushions are tearing

I have had this couch for only 2 years, and not only does it constantly shed feathers it also just started creaking. The excessive shedding is completely normal according to customer service, and I was told to vacuum and fluff. I feel like I am constantly fluffing the back cushions and they still look like they are from a 10+ year old couch. This excessive shedding should be a seen as quality control issue and not a user error given that eventually the couch will lose so many feathers you will need to replace the cores. I thought I was upgrading from my trusty IKEA couches, but they've had better longevity than this couch. Coincidentally, I also have down pillow cores from IKEA and they've never ever shed like this couch does.

We looked a long time for a modern, comfortable, small-ish sofa for our townhome. The 81-inch Linger is perfect. Seat and back height are great, they're a good middle ground of cushy and firm, and the "bulk" is perfect for our space. Love it!! Thank you!!
