Macalester

Love it! We got the 90" Macalester, which is long enough for three people very comfortably (four in a squeeze) - feels luxuriously big. The high arms are amazing. I like to sit sideways on the sofa, so high arms to use as a back are a dream. We chose Mori Ink (deep teal) fabric and love it. To us, it feels like a neutral, but with personality. Our old sofa was grey-beige and sucked the life out of the room. Mori Ink, in contrast, adds character. Comfortable cushion. Love the look of the tufting.

It looks so nice in my living room. Delivery was flawless and I am very happy with the quality and the style

I absolutely love this sofa. I'd been searching for 10 years to find a design I could love and this is it.

Looked for a long time. Glad we were able to customize.

We were anxious about buying online since we don't live anywhere near a store, but we have been really pleased. We had ordered swatches and knew we would like the color (we went with Flint Olive), so our main worry was comfort. We wanted a Goldilocks sofa that wasn't too firm but also would hold up over time. This fits that criteria; it is nicely cushioned without making you feel like you're sinking. With throw pillows, the depth is comfortable for both me (4'11') and my husband (5'11"), and we can lie on it together. We both fell asleep on it the first day and have each napped on it several times now! I'm sure we could have found a couch we liked for cheaper, but we really want to spend our money on products that will last from companies we feel are ethically sound. We love that Room and Board shares detailed information about the factories and components, and we especially liked that this model is made with sustainable materials in Western NC. We would happily purchase again from Room and Board when it's time for another piece!

First time ordering from Room and Board; pleased with the process from ordering to delivery and will order from them again.

Great product.

Beautiful, comfortable, and excellent quality.

It's always a bit of a nail-biter having something custom made that you haven't seen in person before. I needn't have worried. I've never had a more elegant but comfortable sofa. The cushioning feels luxurious, almost like a soft mattress. The fabric is durable but soft, and has already proven to be dog friendly. I bought two of the sofas for a formal sitting room, but they make the room inviting and comfortable, not stuffy or too serious. #sweepstakes

Love the design. Looks great in our Victorian house.
