Perfect amount of space to both store and display… very sturdy - easy to secure to a stud. Wood is a beautiful color that goes with any decor. I have avoided putting heavy books in the middle. This piece makes my office amazing!

We love the Etting shelves. They coordinate with our maple and iron tables; are airy and spacious while offering great display space.

These bookshelves had the usual quality construction expected from R&B. However, I felt that the shelves were stained too orange for me, my store had no shelves on the floor to look at before ordering. They did look a bit more warm than the finish on other bookcases online but these were almost to the point of orange. I tried to live with them but just couldn't. Ordered the metal shelves instead. Return and exchange no issue.

I just received this bookcase, and it is beautiful. However, it does not support much weight on the shelves. I put books all the way across one shelf and it bowed pretty bad, so I'll probably need to return this and find something else. I would recommend to anyone who just wants to put light decorations on it... but not recommend as an actual bookshelf.

I purchased two of these bookcases to replace older darker heavier ones on either side of my doorway. I love that that are made from salvaged and repurposed wood. They are sturdy but have a light visual appeal. The wood tone was a bit oranger than I anticipated but I am growing to love the variation of wood tones it brings to the room. Despite the short delay after purchasing I would order again. #sweepstakes

#sweepstakes The reclaimed wood is truly beautiful . I almost bought the smaller size but checked with one of the design advisors and after looking at my pictures and my measurements she suggested the larger one and she was absolutely right. It looks great.

I love this product design. I didn't put anything on it for three months so the shelves could change color a bit, which they did. However, after putting books on it, you could hear the wood cracking and splitting. Also, a few knots came out, which isn't unusual. I removed half the books, leaving mostly paperbacks. Some cracks are superficial and others more substantial. maybe it's the dry climate of the Pacific Southwest? To their credit, Room and Board offered to let me return it, but I wanted to see how it aged a bit more. Still some more cracks appeared, so I will have to see if I can still return it.
