Why not hide the cable?
Comments about Lincoln 60w 20d 30-49h Adjustable Standing Desk with Center Drawer
First, this desk is beautiful. In design and in functionality.
What I can't understand is why - for a $4,000 desk that is also a standing desk - no one considered hiding the electric cable in the legs of this desk.
Basically, the electronic components are just screwed to the underside of the desk top - so they are hidden from view - but then you have this very thick black cable that just drops to the floor from the underside of the desk top that looks very unsightly. With a modest bit of additional effort the cable could have been elegantly hidden INSIDE of the leg and desk top elevator so that you could elegantly connect it to a floor monument.
For a desk this expensive and intended to be a fine piece of furniture, the handling of the electrical components feels like an afterthought that really detracts from the aesthetic appeal of this product.

This desk is a show stopper! The walnut wood is beautiful. The functionality is impressive! There are 3 preset buttons to choose the desk height I would like so sitting to standing (and in between) is just the press of a button. I am so pleased with this desk and enjoy every minute behind it! #sweepstakes
Delivery gentlemen were fanstastic. There was a gliche with the software the first delivery and the delivery men promptly disassembled the desk and returned it to the warehouse. The second desk they scrutinized and tested to make sure everything was in good working order and they did not leave until they were satisfied!
