Kona

We bought the 63" length version of the Kona extension table from Room and Board around 2009. It lived 7 years under a covered back porch, then 8 years on an uncovered back porch. We have done almost zero maintenance and are just now looking to replace it. My wife and I are back here at Room and Board looking for another high-quality, long-lasting, well-designed outdoor table. We're happy to pay more for products designed to last more than a year or two.

I wanted a metal table because I had a glass top table break on me during a wind storm, and I didn't want to deal with the maintenance/upkeep for a wooden table. The one looks great, and the built-in extension is easy to use and great for when we have friends over. #sweepstakes

We have had so many lovely evenings and afternoons around this table. We are able to accommodate a number of friends and family members safely around the table. We love that it's expandable, but are keeping it fully extended to be able to continue to use the umbrella on sunnier days #sweepstakes

I love this table except there is a design flaw. The middle section which is the extension, hides under the table but when it rains the water sits on this section. I love the look of the solid piece when you extend the table but I don't like the rain water sitting on it... so I am always opening it up after a rain and drying it off. Also the Theo chair does not fit under the table when it is not extended. The extendable section seats down too low so the chair has to sit back. Both the table and Theo chairs are great but the manufacturer should consider some changes.

Perfectly sized for either 4 or up to 8. The fact that the drop leaf is under the table makes this a perfect size for porches. It is also very durable - we matched it with Aruba Chairs that are about 10 years old but look new.

Chairs won't slide fully under when they bang against the underhang expansion leaf

#sweepstakes This table is perfect for our rooftop deck. It's large so it can accommodate a large group, and it's easy to clean. I love that even if it rains, we can still use it as soon as the rain stops since it's easy to dry off. I only wish the umbrella can be stored/used in the closed mode.

We're lucky enough to have a back patio in New York City, and wanted to find an outdoor dining table and chairs that would look great and be comfortable without taking up too much room, and this fit the bill perfectly. We love that it can be extended for larger groups, or made smaller when it's just the four of us. Feels really well made. We've paired it with four Aruba chairs and one Montego bench. #sweepstakes
