Colby

Beautiful table, especially in walnut. The look is a little mid-century, a little modern. I love how the legs are thick and not tapered. And the way they're connected at an angle gives you a little extra room for seating. The 96" length is plenty roomy for eight dining chairs — three on each long side and one at each end. I find that the 36" width is just right so chairs fully push in under the table, but (as expected) the chairs at the ends can't push in all the way. Ours push in about half way under the table ends, but if they're different styles of chairs than the other six, the look works. I'm giving the table less than five stars only because there's one flaw we're trying to figure out. Our table creaks a lot — when you lean on it, rest your elbows on the surface, and definitely when you move it to adjust its placement in the room. It sounds like wood tightly rubbing on wood, presumably where the legs are bolted to the top. Our delivery guy tightened the bolts on a subsequent visit (delivering the chairs) and it's a little better, but still annoyingly creaky. We'll have to contact support and see if this is normal, if there is a solution, or if maybe it fixes itself over time as the wood acclimates? If the creak would go away, it'd definitely be a five star table. #sweepstakes

My walnut Colby table is 110w looks lovely in the daytime as well as night. Glad I picked this size that seats 8 comfortably, if needed I can add 2 more.

A beautiful table that all our families and friends to gather to create as well as reminisce memories with. The styling is simple with elegance along with the quality craftsmanship that should transcend time and generations.

This table is so well made and sturdy. I have toddlers and we eat dinner on this table most evenings and it is easy to clean and beaitufl to look at it.

The table is so beautiful, and makes the entire room. It's made in the US by artisans in VT and made of solid walnut and wow - it's so heavy!! Fits 10 chairs easily with plenty of elbow room. Love love love. It was worth the wait! #sweepstakes

This table caught my eye after I visited the store for another model. It was solid but still sleek and not too modern looking (Parsons is not my taste for dining). Then it was delivered and each day I still look at the table and admire it. The walnut is a really nice grain. I would purchase again. #sweepstakes

Great table and well-constructed

This table is super solid. It is gorgeous to look at, and can seat 10 people in a pinch (8 comfortably). The walnut wood is a lovely color. One disclosure - clearance between the bottom of the table and a dining chair seat is smaller than average, so if anyone using the table has larger legs, they may find it a tight squeeze. There was also quite a bit of wood dust on the underside of the table which I needed to clean up. #sweepstakes

Overall the table is beautiful, the table looks amazing but there were some very rough and splintery surfaces underneath the table that we were able to have customer service fix up in a repair visit. #sweepstakes

The table is very well made and is exactly as I had hoped. I had a great experience working with Janice. She was very responsive and helpful when I had questions.
