I purchased the Hannah sofa in Mori fabric, Navy. The pictures and swatches (highly recommend getting swatches!) did not do this sofa justice. It has a rounded-ish back at the arms so it softens the edges perfectly. The arms are just wide enough to sit something on in a pinch, and the bench cushion is the perfect balance of support and sink-in-ness. The fabric is such a georgious color and weave. It has proven to be child, dog, and a messy adult-proof, while still looking classy. I love this sofa and will be purchasing more items from Room and Board.

I'm so so happy with my sofa. It was absolutely worth the wait and the higher cost of the olive green velvet. I knew I wanted a rich color, and it looks great with the modern but subtle shape of the Hannah. The bench cushion is so comfortable and clean looking. It's roomy enough for lounging but still fits perfectly in my new smallish apartment. I can't wait to design the rest of the room around it. #sweepstakes

The color (Windsor clay) is insanely good. The fabric (performance velvet) has been very pet friendly— I have a cat and a larger dog. The curved back is a standout! So happy with my purchase.

My wife and I purchased this to help furnish our new house and we are so glad we made this choice. This was one of our splurge items and we love it. On the day we picked this out, we had been all over Seattle and Bellevue trying out different couches and this one was by far our favorite in terms of colors/options and comfort.

The back cushions on this couch do not hold their shape, so they scrunch down to the same height as the arms which essentially means this couch has no back support. It requires us to use throw pillows in order to be comfortable, and if we have anyone over I need to spend time to make the couch look presentable. It looks very nice in our living room, but it's just not that comfortable for watching TV. We have had this couch for about a year and I'm already thinking of replacing it because it's just not that comfortable for every day use.

What most people don't share with you about this couch is that the kind of fabric you choose will make all the difference in how comfortable and welcoming it feels. I went with one of the lower price stock fabrics, because I'm not filthy rich and could not afford a $5k - 10k couch. COMFORT My first thought upon sitting down on my new couch was, "Wow. This is a very firm couch." But I actually prefer a firm couch for my posture and because some of my family members are curvy, to put it kindly. I added pillows and a nice throw, and that certainly made it feel more warm, cozy, and softer. My folks say it's a comfortable couch and they all have very large "sink-in" sofas that are super soft. Everyone raves about how beautiful it looks (of course for the price, it's going to be a beautiful couch). I don't mind the impressions left behind on the cushion after sitting. I think this helps the couch become more "lived in" because it's already firm, so I like that the cushion fibers loosen up a bit. After about 4 weeks of various people sitting on it, it has become more flexible and therefore has a more "sink-in" feeling. The FABRIC is resilient — now, I don't have any kids, nor pets, but my nephew who is a kid ate food and ice cream on the couch, and while there were no spills, I didn't feel anxious about anything because the fabric is super easy to clean. The COLOR and SIZE are actually fantastic. So it looks gray, but in the sunlight, it's a soft, professional, gorgeous blue. My apartment is 700 sq ft, and a dark-colored couch would have made the space look even smaller. This fit perfectly and still left me with more than enough walking space. Ultimately I'm glad I went with R&B. At least the founder is not an insatiable billionaire, so that helps...and the couch feels sturdy and like it will hold up for several years to come.
