Camber

Mounted in our master bedroom, wall mounting was easy and they look great!

The Camber wall sconce doesn't take up space unlike a table lamp. I like that It freed up the nightstand surface. The metal feels very high quality. It has a screw-on metal tube that straightens the cord for the plug-in version, which makes the scone a lot sharper. The tube feels like it's the same meta. Once assembled, it becomes a part of the same unit instead of an add-on. (Somebody commented that swinging the light lifts the base off the wall and to do it safely you'd want to press hold on to the base. Here's suggestion, instead of installing 2 screws like in the instruction, use 4. Also loosen the screw a bit so that the arm is not too tight)

Like this sconce a lot! Bought two in white (the color is matte and more of a "cold" white than a warm cream/ivory). I use it as a plug-in (didn't connect in-wall electrical wiring) to illuminate my new reading nook. The bulb provided is actually 3,000 Kelvin, which is a warmer light than I expected, and I love it - bright enough but also warm, perfect for reading. And I love the very smooth dimming switch! I am a very un-handy(!) person yet managed to mount it myself (the enclosed instructions were cryptic/terse and also somewhat contradicted a more comprehensive PDF version I found online; so, after some online research, I got longer screws than provided, located a stud in the wall using a magnet, and mounted the sconce with a low-power amateur drill). Contrary to one review I read, the mounting feels sturdy, even when I swing the arm around or adjust the lamp itself. The display model at my local R&B store (Culver City, CA) was very squeaky, but mine are [and I presume yours will be too] silent - yay! One thing to note: the inside of the lamp shade is not pristinely white like the outside - it has grey metal etchings, as I'd the manufacturer didn't completely finish the inside surface. One of my sconces had half the inside that looked like that (unattractive!), so I asked R&B to exchange it for another, which is much cleaner. As always, customer service from R&B was *great*. Aesthetically, also very pleased! Clean, minimalist, modern. I was afraid it might look like a student's desk lamp - but it is actually stylish and lovely.

Love the way the camber sconces look. Frees up space and pairs well with the Decker side tables.

It is beautiful and well made. It took a bit of maneuvering for me to get it straight on the wall. The directions were not clear in this regard. I love the covered wire, but it does meant it is obvious if not 100% straight.

Where's the quality control?? I looked and looked for plug in wall sconces with cord covers for my guest bedroom. I wanted a modern coastal look to go in our mid century modern ranch. After months, I finally pulled the trigger on these. Pros...attractive, adjustable arm and light direction, fits versatile decor, great light with a low wattage LED bulb. Con...and here's the BIG CON. It took ordering five sconces and three trips to the store to get two that matched and were not defective. I want to buy made in the USA expecting better quality even if at a higher price. The first one returned had pink paint? fingerprints all over the arm and head of sconce of the white fixture. Then the next two returned did not thread together completely where the two cord cover pieces meet leaving the threads exposed. Not something I was willing to settle for at the price. So bottom line, I'm happy with the look, but very disappointed in the time and effort to get two that match.

The lights look terrific on each side of our king size bed. They are the modern look I wanted and do not detract from the headboard...perfect.

It's a beautiful sconce that fit perfectly in my "southwestern modern" guest bedroom. Easy to install, but the sheetrock anchors were a cheap plastic that broke immediately. They should provide the same metal sheetrock for the price. I searched all over the internet for sconces like these. These were expensive, but they were exactly what I was look for. #sweepstakes
