We order this rug as a custom size. It took some time to be made, but ended up being delivered very close to the original date that was scheduled. The rug fits very well with our living room. It was easy to use Room and Board's website to generate a photo of the room with the "rug" before we purchased it. Overall a great experience and great product!

Very soft and prettier than I expected from the swatch - I happened to see a full-size rug when I was returning the swatches (intending to purchase elsewhere) and realized it was actually perfect. The terra-cotta color is way more dominant than you could tell from the swatch. It ties everything together beautifully.

We selected the "marine" version. We like that it has a loosely, traditional feel, but the pattern is more folksy, by giving it some personality without being too extreme or risk of it looking outdated in the future. We like to keep our pieces for a long time. The fringe on the end offers a nice highlight and picks up some light sections in the rug. The different shades of color also gave us flexibility and freedom with other design decisions in the room, such as wall color and pillows. #sweepstakes

Originally bought a larger rug, but ended up being too big for our newly renovated space. Returned at store, super easy, super quick. The lady even went ahead and ordered the smaller size for me and shipped to my house. Received the new smaller rugs very quickly. However, when opened up rugs, the color was different than our previous large rugs. More pale peachy, red, where as the larger rugs were more of a beautiful terracotta - what I was going for originally to go with terra cotta floor. Also, when opening the smaller rugs, they smelled badly of mold and mildew. They did not appear to be used, but wherever they are manufactured, it's obvious they are made in a damp stinky environment. I have them airing out on drying racks for many weeks trying to get rid of musky smell. Not sure if I'm going to keep them. Also, the design is weird. One side of design is highlighted in black, one side is not. It's obvious during manufacturing they make a runner and cut in half, so the design repeat makes it not symmetrical. -Pro, heavy duty rug, heavy duty wool.

We love our beautiful new rug. We placed it in our dining room. Color is lovely and feels great underfoot.

When I visited Room and Board, I loved the marine Kayseri rug. The sample rug on the rack and the one on the floor looked great. So I purchased a small runner for a hallway going to the bathroom, which was adjacent to the foyer, for which I purchased a larger matching runner. The problem was that the small runner was dark green, not blue, and a bit muddy looking in general. Very different from the sample on the rack in the store. I actually went to the store with my small runner to compare it with the sample and could see that they were very different. Then the larger runner arrived, and I was surprised that it was so faded and the wool seemed a bit ratty looking, as if the rug had been left outside. I returned both runners. Room and Board was nice about the return. I had to pay a small shipping charge.

We got samples of all three colors. The wool is soft, but I didn't expect it to be cut (like a very short cut pile rug). The terracotta color is more of a salmon pink, not a red-orange darker terracotta, and it will only fade. The Moss color looks dirty, not like a natural woodsy green. The kpi is coarser than I would like (48 kpi is what is listed; I didn't measure it). My husband's first thought was that it looked like something one would find at Home Goods. I do appreciate that the samples and shipping are free; I just wish we liked the product!

I bought this rug from a showroom; it was a sample for sale at a discounted price. At that discounted price, this rug is amazing. It has a nice cut pile, which my cat is not interested in scratching. The tassels aren't too long (don't get caught in my robot vacuum), and it seems like it is going to last a very long time. The muted colors look lovely in my home.
