We’re so excited to see you. Here are some tips for making the most of your appointment. After you have scheduled, we’ll put you in touch with your Design Associate and you can share these details with them.
Measure your space
Include the depth and width of your room, ceiling height and placement of architectural features, like windows and doors.Gather inspiration
Help us understand your style. Save Room & Board items to your Favorites or cart. Use our galleries, customer photos or share your own Pinterest board.Share images
Pictures or videos of your room(s) let us get a feel for the space. Include day and night images to help with color selection.
FAQs
Use a tape measure to measure the length, width, and height of the room. Then measure the height, width, and placement of elements like windows, doors, fireplace and radiators. Sketch it on paper or use a measuring app on your mobile device. We'll use your measurements for floor planning.
Take a photo from each corner of your room and from the entrance to the space. Natural lighting works best, if possible.
Prior to your appointment, photos help us understand your space, architecture and personal style. As we finalize the design after your appointment, photos will help us reference your space.
Simply reply to your appointment confirmation email. Your images will go directly to the Design Associate assigned to your upcoming appointment.
Yes, both appointment types offer personalized advice, including space planning, product recommendations and more. However, virtual appointments allow us to share our screen in real time to select furniture and show you what your space looks like in 3D.
Yes. Depending on the size of your project, multiple free appointments may be needed.
Yes. When booking additional appointments, simply select the Design Associate you worked with to schedule with them.
