Upholstered Furniture Delays

More than 90% of our furniture is made in the United States from domestic and imported materials. Our U.S. manufacturers rely on domestic foam to make our sofas, sectionals, chairs and other upholstered items.

The aftermath of February’s ice and cold temperatures across the South stalled foam manufacturing. Plants were unable to re-open without extensive equipment, safety and quality testing, which took several weeks and continues to delay foam availability.

Room & Board, our manufacturing partners and the broader furniture industry have been directly impacted by these foam delays. Foam was already in short supply due to an increased demand for home furnishings during the pandemic.

As foam production recovers, you will see longer than normal wait times for upholstered items such as sofas, sectionals and chairs. The dates shown on our product pages reflect the best information currently available for new orders.

If you have an upholstered item on order with us, we will keep in touch with you by email about any changes to your estimated delivery timing. You may also check the status of your order through your online account or by contacting us.

As always, we are committed to sharing accurate information with you. Thank you for your patience.
