I'm a huge fan of Room and Board and was pretty excited about this piece.
I dislike the time that it takes to receive a piece from Room and Board, but I understand that it takes a while to make nice things.
The walnut is lovely. Exterior fit and finish seems great. I certainly love the design.
I think I am a little disappointed, especially given the cost of the dresser and my experience with Room and Board products. Most of it has to do with the hardware and the drawer length wood pulls, which are part of the drawers themselves. Design is great, but they feel flimsy and poor quality. Almost like they will break off at some point. I would prefer proper metal pulls and soft close hardware.
Would not buy the dresser again, but after waiting months for this to be delivered, didn't want to wait months again for something else.
Once the delivery was finally scheduled, it was professional, prompt, communicative. Room and Board nails it there.

The interior of the drawers are made of plywood, which caused screws to create splinter. The drawer will hit the metal sliders and that cause dents for all drawers.

The dresser is well-made and feels very solid. The color is exactly as I expected from the photos and sample. My only complaint is the limited opening of the drawers. The description says it has 3/4 drawer slides. However, the slides are much closer to only 2/3, meaning a third of the drawer is inaccessible when the drawer is fully opened. This leaves a lot of space unused, and we had to put something in the back of the drawers to prevent our clothes from sliding into the back where they cannot be reached.
