Humphrey

I have been looking for an accent chair for years and finally found it. The proportions of this chair is exactly what I was looking for, big enough to cross my legs in and enjoy a cup of tea but also not oversized. It is well made, sturdy and a classic style (not too modern and not too antique). Room and board makes beautiful, well built furniture.

The chair is SO beautifully made!! And it is so comfortable. It is exactly what we searched quite a while to find!!

I've purchased several quality brand name pieces made in NC before, and I can can assure you this is quality. The fabric is high quality as well as the construction. I will absolutely order from R&B again.

Really loved this chair online. It's even more substantial in person, absolutely lovely to look at and sit in. The fabric I chose was Hamilton Oat .. and it's a gorgeous print but in my house, in the light I have, the background like oks more platinum gray and less "oat". Lighting makes a big difference. Staff at R&B in Austin was outstanding and very helpful.

We got these chairs in a special fabric and are so so happy with them! They are comfortable to cozy up in, and great for having a toddler on your lap!

This classic design goes well with our early 20th century re-upholstered pieces in our living room.

I couldn't be happier with the Humphrey chair from Room & Board. It is incredibly comfortable and has quickly became my favorite reading chair. The fabric has a clean, aesthetically pleasing pattern that adds texture and depth without overwhelming the room. The quality and craftsmanship are outstanding, and it is clear the chair is built to last. It has also held up beautifully to daily use from both me and my family, so it truly feels like a performance fabric while still looking stylish. I love that Room & Board offers patterned fabric options, which give the space a more personal feel. It fits perfectly with my colonial aesthetic, adding a classic touch that still feels updated and refined. It is also the perfect addition to my sunroom, I love it!!! #sweepstakes

Waited a long time for this chair in a specific fabric. Well worth it. The cushion in the chair is both supportive and inviting. The deeper seat makes it feel like you are reclining without leaning back feet up on an ottoman or not it is perfect for reading and relaxing.

These chairs look perfect in my formal living room. They're really well constructed and the fabric is a lovely texture and color - it goes with anything. I got a set of two, and with a side table in between they look very balanced across from a large leather sofa.
