Nova Lamp

These lamps make great bedside lamps! Modern, flexible and great lighting! #sweepstakes

I bought two of these lamps for the bedside. I love the ability to adjust the brightness, the flexibility of the lamp arm to adjust to the perfect position, and the directness of the light for reading without lighting up the entire room.

It was a challenge to find a good reading lamp for my husband Pat. But I found this to be a perfect solution, and so I splurged. Worth it! He reads constantly, but is frail and his eyesight needs lots of light. I got rid of our old lamps, hard to turn off/on, and bought a floor lamp for his right shoulder, and then found this marvelous touch lamp for his left side at Room & Board. This LED light beams direct strong yet soft light onto the pages. To turn it off or on, it requires only a touch of the finger. Also, to brighten or dim it, he just slides his finger along the neck. The lamp never gets hot. He can instantly position it wherever he needs onto the pages of the book. It is because it is extremely well weighted, and can be positioned in numerous ways, and it also has that modern wow factor, an update to his library (which I am also updating). There is no fumbling (or stepping on a switch) to turn it off and on. Just simply touch the lamp. The cost is high, but exactly what he needs and worth it.

I love this lamp. It's just the right size for my desk and it's so easy to use. Love that it can be programed to turn on when I walk into my home office. You can adjust it for the perfect amount of light, and it's very well made. This is a Top-Class product!

I have been looking for a lamp for next to the sofa in my den. I love LED lights and this is just what I imagined would work in the room. Since the height is adjustable, it works perfectly on the side table which is a bit lower than the sofa arm. The lamp's base is small so there is still plenty of space on the table for other things. The light varies in brightness so it's great for reading or for watching television. I am so glad I purchased it.

I am using it as a desk lamp. I love the ability to lower or raise the lamp. It will sense movement and automatically turn off or on. It is the perfect lamp. I have recommended it often.

This is a high quality, practical task lamp with a solid, heavy base (as expected from Room & Board). Love the products and customer service!

Clean simple design. Love the on and off (by touch on a little bar). Brightness adjusts easily by sliding finger on the same bar.

The style fits my desk and the light a nice warm color. I don't use the dimmer as I keep it on high. Nice quality and I like the motion feature. I don't turn it on and off. Leave the home office it turns off and when I return it turns on. A bit pricey for a desk lamp is my only con.

I decided to take a chance on the LED board, something I've never had before. It gives off a beautiful, subtle, controlled light. You can't perform surgery under it, but its perfect for a desk, side table, reading, working, etc. The look is very modern and elegant. Base is very heavy and sturdy. Quality product in all aspects. The one touch on/off, with a slide to dim, is incredibly intuitive. Works exactly as you would expect. I never even looked at the instructions. I love the way it eventually turns off after you leave, and then comes on when you approach. It's a lamp with a brain. Also, as bonus, when I'm not home, whenever my cat walks past it it turns on, so the house looks occupied. :-)
