Ava

Outstanding costumer service and excellent piece of furnature with good value

Our R&B design consultant helped us pick out the leather for this barstool, and we are very happy with it. The chair is very comfortable. #sweepstakes

These counter stools are perfect. I like the chrome foot rest which I think over time will work best. The one we had previously the paint had chipped off from frequent use so I didn't want that to happen again. This coordinates nicely with my Ansel Dining chairs. Adjacent to our kitchen. We have an open floor plan. This was a bit expensive but most of the Room and Board furniture we have purchased will last for a very long time. We have a leather sofa that is over 24 years old that we sit and watch tv every night and it still looks and feels great despite daily use

I was looking for a transitional leather bar stool that is comfortable and not too tall for a counter height stool (you'd be surprised how much seat heights vary) and chose the Ava sight unseen because it fit all my requirements. Upon delivery, I was thrilled by the end result. The quality is top notch, the seat is comfortable and it fits our island height perfectly. The only negative was that somewhere between the manufacturing and getting to my house, the legs on two out of four stools got a little scuffed up, enough that i'll have to find a matching stain to fix it.

Great stools, will last a very long time. cost was more than i wanted to pay, but better than getting cheap ones every few years.

The quality and design of R&B furniture is always top notch and these stools are no exception. However, they are too high to be comfortably used at a kitchen counter and the ones termed"counter height" would be too low. Our existing stools are perfect and they are about an inch shorter. It makes a huge difference, making "sliding" into the stool difficult and, once seated, there's just not enough room to be comfortable. Plus, you must hunch over a bit to do anything at the counter. I fear over time, they may cause back problems. I have considered having the legs cut but that just seems like something I'll regret.

These stools (I purchased three) while quite expensive, are the most comfortable stools I could find after checking out the products from about 8 brick and mortar stores locally.

We moved into a new home and have a center island for the first time so needed counter stools. We were pleased to find the Ava stools in leather. They are so comfortable with the back and the padded seat. We sit at the counter for our meals and have enjoyed the great seating.

Beautiful, high end chairs. The details are perfect. The padding is thinner than what we were used to but it's totally fine. There are little platic feet at the bottom of the chairs. It made it hard to add felt to protect our floors. We had to pull these off and are much happier. The chairs should either not include these or the purchaser should have the option on custom orders. This was a minor inconvenience. #sweepstakes

I searched at multiple (6-7) retail stores for comfortable counter height stools. These were by far the best of the lot. Since I've had them, I've sat in them for hours at a time doing work on my laptop and never once was I uncomfortable. My previous stools, made of beautiful bamboo, were uncomfortable within minutes of taking a seat. These are quite gorgeous in smoke colored full grain leather. The foot rest is metal, so, unlike wood, it will outlive me! The stools also function as guest seating along my large island. Guests sit on the far side of the island and chat with me while I'm busy in the kitchen. It's a relief to know that my guests are are now comfortable.
