What I ordered was colorful and interesting. What was delivered was dull dull dull. Years ago, I bought a bunch of stuff from them and it was great. This is my second recent order and will be my last. Just don't.

The white top and stainless legs work well with the kitchen, it looks sharp!

This parsons table - (with 2" stainless steel legs and a walnut top) - is substandard. It has quality issues. The table persistently wobbles during everyday use, the legs are uneven, and the solid Walnut top does not match the photos, or the color, grade, or quality of other Walnut Room and Board items that I have purchased. Although I understand that all natural solid wood is unique, I have several other "Room and Board" Walnut items and this table top is "off-color" - to say the least - and the wobbling is beyond the pale.

We bought this to replace a different Room & Board counter with shelves that had been gifted to us. Everyone always wants to sit in the kitchen around the island, so we wanted to accommodate more stools. It's beautiful, super solid, and we can now offer up to 7 people a seat when we entertain.

On the positive side, the 48x24" size is perfect for a narrow apartment kitchen/island. The simple design is nice and it can fit in with many decor styles. After living with it for over a year, I do have some complaints though. I wish it were heavier/sturdier because it slides around every day and I constantly have to reposition it. The solid walnut table top is also extremely susceptible to heat damage (even a dinner plate with warm food on it can leave a bleached circle), water marks, and scratches during normal use. Maybe a lighter wood would hide some of these ugly marks.. I regret not getting the white oak.

The quality is remarkable, solid, beautiful and well made. Highly recommend this table for small spaces.

I have actually purchased a sectional couch, a recliner, a small bar-height table and two comfortable "bar stool" chairs, Then I went back and purchased a beautiful dining room table. Every piece of furniture is top quality. As a college student I worked for a while delivering furniture for another retailer and I saw the lousy workmanship, cheap materials and flim-flam sales techniques that were used to sell junk. This company is the opposite. No pressure sales techniques and no insincere claims about the quality. I'm very impressed and will buy furniture from this company again.
