Parsons Leg

Everything is as advertised. Nice finish on the oak - all very solid by design. There is slight convexity to the smaller "return" table which is only apparent at the point where it meets the larger bigger table. A millimeter or 2 on either side.

Attractive, functional, well made, beautiful wood, and excellent for my work from home needs. I love how spacious it feels. #sweepstakes

I have a small office space but want to maximize the surface area of my desk. This proved to be the perfect solution, better than i imagined. It's got clean lines, and the cherry top is beautiful Very happy!

Beautiful desk, love the wood. However, upon delivery, there were no prepared drill holes where we could attach the smaller piece to the larger piece. So the delivery crew had to drill new holes, and move one of the legs over about an inch. This new drilling unfortunately caused a crack in the wood. Not sure how R&B could sell a product like this, presumably designed to have two pieces that go together, and not have them actually ready to assemble together.

I love my new desk! Perfect for my home office!

If you're here, you can see that the furniture is beautiful, and it's better in person, but this is a review about customer service. We've ordered from R&B for the past ten years and this order was the first time that we've had a challenging delivery experience. It was bad, I let my frustration get the best of me, and R&B handled it like we were family. I won't name names out of respect for their privacy, but I felt like I walked into a local artisan's shop, had a problem, and sat down for a cup of coffee to figure out a solution that left us both satisfied and with a way to happily do business together in the future. As a son of a woodworker, I love and appreciate the quality of this furniture, but the customer service is even better—even when, or perhaps especially when, the customer isn't. We'll continue to support this wonderful company and enjoy the best furniture in the process of doing so.

Bought this desk for my home office. It fits perfectly in my space. The finish is beautiful and the surface area is perfect for a computer with a large monitor.

Unfortunately, I measured incorrectly and this desk didn't fit my space at all. But, it's absolutely stunning in person! The spalted sugarberry is seriously beautiful. I'm so bummed it didn't work out. Don't be silly like me - make sure you look at the overall dimensions of the desk you buy. Returning it was a breeze - the folks at Room and Board are kind and easy to work with. Even though things didn't work out, I don't have a single complaint and couldn't be happier with my experience!

I was looking for an L-shaped desk that looks great, is solid wood and not a veneer, is functional, and would not break the bank. This completely fits the bill. The white oak has a high quality feel to it. It obviously does not have drawers, but its high clearance allows you easily to place a file cabinet under the tabletop. With no apron, it is very easy to attach a keyboard drawer, a dual monitor clamp and other accessories.

The reclaimed wood really gives the piece character
