Hensley
Hensley is inspired by the timeless appeal of mid-century design but infused with modern details. Wisconsin woodworkers craft Hensley from domestically sourced wood, giving it homegrown beauty. A pleasure to use, slight issue with the wood
Comments about Hensley 42w 20d 60h Armoire w/Metal Base
The walnut is really lovely, but it did seem dry upon arrival, so treated it with the recommended Howard Products Feed-N-Wax Wood Polish. It feels smooth to the touch, but when dusting with a microfiber cloth it catches on the rough surface, so probably needs a light sanding with a fine sandpaper? Not sure what to use, there are no guidelines.
The doors and hinges on the armoire are silent and easy moving. Everything open and closes quietly. I appreciate the large open shelves. It's a bit of a faff to get the shelf in: bring a flashlight.

Beautiful piece of furniture
Comments about Hensley 42w 20d 60h Armoire w/Metal Base
We needed additional space in our older home with small closets. This piece of furniture is not only sleek and beautiful, but functions well to create the extra space we need for clothes.

Its everything and more
Comments about Hensley 42w 20d 60h Armoire w/Metal Base
Its all that and a bag of chips. I ordered the white oak version with stainless legs and pulls and its game over. Its where ample storage meets functionality, beauty and quality. Couldn't be happier. Its a showstopper and I'm thrilled with this purchase. #sweepstakes

Out-gassing made room unusable
Comments about Hensley 42w 20d 60h Armoire w/Metal Base
Beautiful piece and the finish goes well with my other furniture, but what kind of finish is it? It stunk up the room for several weeks even with the heater and windows open.

I use as a pantry!
Comments about Hensley 42w 20d 60h Armoire w/Metal Base
This piece is awesome. I use it as a pantry. The adjustable shelves (which may also be removed) are perfect for getting just the right space for my pantry organizers. The drawers are three different depths, so they accommodate everything I needed to store.
I cannot say enough good things about the delivery team! They were on time, professional and courteous. They adjusted the doors so they lined up perfectly and made sure it was placed exactly where I wanted.
I bought a total of 5 pieces of furniture and I am happy with all of them. There was an issue with one and R&B contacted me within hours of the delivery team leaving my house and made it right as quickly as possible with absolutely no hassles at all. I will be a customer for life!

Poor craftsmanship
Comments about Hensley 42w 20d 60h Armoire w/Metal Base
I was really excited for the armoire. Got this for my craft storage however noticed the front facing covers are not aligned properly. At the price point, I expected better craftsmanship to basic details.
Now, whenever I look at this piece, I'll only see this flaw. This was intended to replace a big box furniture that I incorrectly assembled a cover that was uneven and had to stare at it for years. I can live with the minor flaw, but I will be hesitant to purchase from R&B again.
Service was excellent. The guys did a great job and was careful with the furniture pieces that were delivered.

Beautiful, but I didn't know I have to conditioning it!
Comments about Hensley 42w 20d 60h Armoire w/Metal Base
Nobody told me I have to conditioning the wood twice a year, otherwise looks dead no life in it. Doors don't close by itself anymore….
