I first bought a R&B bed frame almost 15 years ago. It's still going strong. I just bought this one for my teenager, with the idea that I would rather spend a little more on something that will last, be sturdy, and be a good guest bed (or have good resale value) when the kid moves out. I feel better about buying quality items that won't end up in a landfill in 3 years.

I couldn't be happier with my purchase! I actually bought this bed to replace one I had purchased from a Room & Board competitor that was terrible in terms of noise and craftsmanship. I scoured the reviews on R&B to make sure I wouldn't have any of those issues and I am pleased to say this bed frame is perfection. It is very sturdy, doesn't move at all, and is 100% silent if you know what I mean… I did purchase the bunkie board to provide extra support for my latex mattress which is also great. Additionally I have not had any issues with pillows falling through the front headboard. I just scooted the mattress up to the top of the frame and no issues. I ordered in the natural steel color and it complements the industrial vibe of my timber loft condo perfectly. I was originally considering the Parsons bed frame first as it was in stock and ready to ship but I'm glad I waited for the Piper as it's just a little bit more modern and stylish. The Piper even arrived a little earlier than estimated. Overall I'm so happy with this bed frame and the overall service from Room & Board. From the in-store customer service, to the online ordering, awesome delivery guys, and amazing product quality… Room & Board has really impressed me.

No headboard makes it a bit tricky to lean back. You have to get creative with pillows. Large mattress topper solved this issue but can't see the top part as well. You have to tuck in the edge. I so like the look.

We loved the simple design of this bed, but it didn't quite fill our room the way we had hoped. The headboard is very low and it's a very simple design - I think this would work great on a queen or smaller mattress in a kid or guest room. The quality and construction of it was VERY solid, it just wasn't what our master bedroom needed. Room & Board customer service was absolutely phenomenal to work with in helping us exchange this for a different frame.

We first purchased the piper in natural steel 7 years ago and it is still in pristine condition so when the time came to purchase a new bed for our primary the only question was which color should we get?!! The sage green powder-coated steel is gorgeous and looked just like the swatch. Its high gloss finish looks great too! Yet to be disappointed with R&B product, quality or customer service. #sweepstakes
