Nova Lamp

Some of the other comments made me hesitate about this lamp, but my experience is the settings are easy, it works great in the location we needed - we used it for a small bedroom as a wall hung sconce, and it looks great.

Beautiful design, poorly executed. Very unusual for Room and Board from my experience. Where lighting is made is very important, in my experience, should have listened to my instincts, but trusted Room and Board to my regret. Lighting control is very sleek and modern, unfortunately doesn't work well and doesn't completely shut off most times. There are multiple options for mounting, which is nice, however all hardware for all options was not shipped to me and parts were missing for my needs. Called for missing parts and R&B customer service was very nice and initiated query to the appropriate department. By the time everything was sorted and I had my part, was several weeks. Should have just sent a replacement. Light is sophisticated and looks great, nice light output and dims nicely. However, feels cheaply made and I don't expect a long life. It was on sale. So I'm guessing R&B knows all of this and was just clearing up inventory. I've been a R&B customer for 15 years and have never had quality issues like this through a lot of furniture and cabinetry, so I am thinking it's an anomaly, but buyer beware on this one

Excellent, high quality sconce. Nice lighting. Only caveats: takes some learning to switch between different programmed modes, but basic operation is great. And be warned that joints do not articulate full 360, just part of the range for each.

We ordered these as bedside lights and they are extremely 'useful' for this purpose. The lights can be moved out of the way easily, they can be dimmed so are not glaring and they look great --we have them in black. It did take awhile to get a 'feel' for how to control them and turning them off was a bit touch and go for awhile. The only 'issue' which is not really an issue is that even when off they glow a bit so are never truly dark.

I am disappointed in these lights. They have a mind of his own. They don't easily come on/off/dim. I had expected more

Now that my husband and I are sharing an office, we are trying to maximize desk space. Being able to have flexible, wall-mounted lighting is a big help. The lights themselves are great. Neutral and diffuse LED lighting, variable brightness, and a motion sensor that has been functioning well for us are all pluses.

I bought two of these. They are lovely. Easy installation. Solid construction. Cool.

This is a sleek design, and for bedside, love the fact that it dims. Fixture doesn't heat up either. There is a design flaw upon installation. When you thread the wire through the back of the mounting hardware and tighten it, the wire can get stripped. This happened to us and broke the fixture. We had to replace it.
