Quality is great, very solid, love the metal slats which support the mattress without needing a leg in the middle. The downside is that the bed is about 3" too long and 2" too wide for a standard queen mattress. We have a standard sized mattress but there is a 1 1/2" space between the mattress and the headboard and the frame sticks out about 1 1/2" past the edge of the mattress at the foot. Not ideal. #sweepstakes

This is a high quality piece of furniture. I especially like that the slats are metal and not wood. This eliminates the need for a central post, so it is easier to clean underneath. It is very solidly built and the wood headboard is nicely finished. My only complaint is that the frame should be about 3 inches shorter and 1 inch narrower. We have a standard sized queen mattress, but it does not reach the foot of the bed when it is tight to the headboard. Since it does not look good with the frame sticking out, we have positioned the mattress about an 1 1/2 inches away from the headboard and the same at the foot. It is definitely not ideal, especially at the corners where the mattress is curved. #sweepstakes

The bed is great to look at and really well made. Its small profile is a welcome alternative to overlarge furniture. Great design.

Superb frame quality and craftsmanship but the wood items at Room and Board consistently rub or fade with time. I've had this same fading issue with the Parsons table and Copenhagen dresser + bed frames.

Sleek, modern, and sturdy!

Got this for my son's room to replace a very old hand-me-down frame that had broken. This is solid. No creaking. He says the slight angle of the headboard makes reading in bed comfortable. The frame also goes well with his vintage MCM walnut dresser. This frame is going to last for many years. #sweepstakes

First, the bed is low with almost no storage room below it. But that's obvious from the published dimensions and the style makes up for it. The problem is that the headboard is so low that it will be completely covered by a deep mattress and a stack of pillows. We have just an 11 inch mattress and three pillows and see just a few inches of the headboard. Also, the way the headboard is angled back, there's a gap between the top of the mattress and the board, and the top of the board hits the wall no matter how deep the floorboard of your room is. So the leading edge will eventually scuff the wall and you have to frequently push the bed back against the wall to keep it from banging with slight movement in the bed. Overall a beautiful bed, but the headboard should be adjustable for height and have pads on the back to protect the wall and reduce noise.

We have had the Copenhagen queen bed for the past 10 years and decided to go with the king , for a little more sleep space. We couldn't be happier. Same great bed, just a little better!
