Metro

The chair is well made. It's not, however, as comfortable an arm chair as I wanted. I replaced an old roll-arm chair that was very worn. To be honest, that chair was still more comfortable than this one. My biggest complaint is the square arms. There is no cushioning over the wood frame edges of t here arms. I've had to put pillows against the arms so that the wood doesn't dig into my arm or side. Disappointing given the price of this chair.

This is the second metro chair we've purchased. The last one was in 2005 so that tells you how durable they are. So comfortable. Hold up well to what life has in store. #sweepstakes

I bought these chairs to replace chairs that I bought from Room and Board 20 years ago - which I'm saving for my daughter who wants them when she gets her own place. They're stylish and comfortable, just like my old ones!

After buying and returning a lounge chair from another store that was too small and tight, Room and Board came through with the real thing. The Metro is the right comfy size. It's width and depth is perfect for a cozy read, taking a friendly phone call or for just a quick and comfy afternoon nap.

Room and Board never disappoints. Great products and service. The design team was very helpful!

For those considering Olmsted natural, I think it works well

This chair is awesome. It's definitely wider than I expected it to be, but in a good way that allows room to cuddle up with a big blanket. It's very sturdy. Couldn't recommend more!

Just gorgeous. The Mori Oatmeal color has so much depth to it while still coordinating with any other color in your room. I'm even considering buying one more to create a u-shaped sofa. #sweepstakes

We ordered the wide L sectional with ottoman and love it. Cushions are a bit more springy than floor models but they will certainly break in a little over the lifetime of the couch, which we hope will be several decades given the craftsmanship and stellar reviews across the internet. Oatmeal Mori color is perfect— not too bland, will blend stains in, and goes with pretty much every decor theme imaginable. We visited all the popular furniture brands with couches on Newbury St in Boston and were very happy to spend more money on a better quality product in the end. Note that the ottoman is massive, but for a couch this size it is very functional—might be overly large for a smaller non-sectional couch. It is also low to the ground— got a specific outlet extender that would fit under it comfortably while chargers are plugged in. #sweepstakes

Very nice ottoman. Comfortable, not heavy so very easy to move. I probably didn't need the big one, but it's good. Removed one star because the cushion is attached, so you can't rotate it like the ones on the sofa, so I'm worried it won't hold its shape as long as the removable cushions.
