Savoy

This is a more traditional style with a modern flair. Good size for grouping with other furniture. Very comfortable even though it has a shorter back.

Attractive, timeless design, high-quality materials. My friend (who is normal size) and I (too tall) shopped around and sat in many chairs (admittedly, at several other stores) before finding this chair. This chair is just right! It is comfortable for both of us and looks great. The designer at Room and Board was able to show (using a computer design program) that the chairs and ottoman would fit properly in my sunroom. He helped me to choose colors and finishes that work together and complement existing fixed elements, such as the floor tile. He also gently encouraged me be a bit more daring (or "intentional," as he put it), about the fabric color, rather than playing it safe with a neutral. The chairs are Savoy, Mori, Olive, Mocha and the ottoman is Sidney, Vento, Oatmeal, Stainless steel. I now have an inviting, comfortable, sophisticated space for myself and for guests. I love how the green chairs are a subtle nod to the evergreen trees outside and do bring the outdoors in.

I have to give it 3 stars because I was looking for something more plush for reading. I sat in it a few times in the store and thought it was comfortable. Just didn't turn out to be what I needed.

This is a beautiful chair and comfortable to sit in but I wish the back gave me a little more support of my back.

Most chairs these days are so deep my feet don't touch the floor and I look like Edith Ann (look it up, kids). With this chair I can sit back and still be sitting straight up. Bought to replace an IKEA POANG chair that left me with a backache. Now I'm pain free and don't look silly trying to get out of it. And that's the truth.

We purchased for a bedroom. Very comfortable and good size. Love the look

I love my Savoy chair in Caldwell umber fabric. It is a modern take on a classic look and the fabric is an update on brocade, without the fussiness. It's a straightforward chair with firm comfort, not too large and fits nicely as an addition to my living room.
