Metro

We have had a metro sectional sofa in a cloth material for 6 years - and we love it. When it came time to replace another 10 year old R&B sofa in our home, we eventually landed on a leather version of the metro. The leather we chose is amazing - we have a toddler and dog and this specific leather doesn't scratch! We expect it to last for a long time. However, because we paid close to $5,000 for this sofa, I'm rather disappointed in the detail work (uneven cushions that don't sit evenly, and uneven fill along arms, etc). I even reached out to Room and Board about it with photos and got an unhelpful response about how that's expected, but I don't think the craftsmanship is where it should be for what I'm used to at Room and Board.

This couch checks all the boxes - leather, deep seat, comfortable, and stylish. The designer helped me choose a color that compliments my room perfectly. This is my second couch from Room and Board, the first one is still going strong at 20 years old!

Well made and comfortable sofa

Product quaity, as expected, is top notch. Was never is the store. Sales of two Metro leather couches was smooth and professional. Very helpfull personal.

Well constructed and took no time to arrive. Looked just like the photos online, very pleased.

The leather is very high-quality. The couch is very comfortable and provides good support.

I have looked at Sofas for the past 5 years but never found one that compared. I'm so happy I took the plunge in purchasing this sofa. The semi-aniline leather was exactly what we needed for our dog. There's no scratch marks left on leather, it's amazing! The color Pesaro camel is just what I was hoping for and the quality is superb!

I purchased the 88" Two cushion Metro sofa in Laino Cognac leather. The first one I purchased I sent back because the appearance of the leather in several areas looked rougher than the general appearance of the rest of the leather. The leather is very nice quality except the uneven texture that I experienced. The replacement sofa was much better in leather consistency but the cushions weren't as evenly distributed. When we sat down on one side, the other side of the cushion would plump up to a much higher level than the other side. I informed the designer at the store about this and she suggested that I give it a little more time to let the sofa break in. I've been swapping cushion from side to side to see how things play out. I don't remember the sofa in the show room having this kind of issue. I'm not sure of the final solution yet but I may end up following the as you my design associate in the store to come back and see if another sofa might work better for me and send this one back. I'm a little frustrated because of how much I loved this sofa in the showroom and it's overwhelmingly positive reviews. Given my experience I'm not sure if I recommend purchasing this sofa, however, based on the overwhelmingly popular reviews I would suggest everyone to consider all reviews and use their best judgement knowing that they may run into issues with the sofa like I have. The return and exchange policy I have experienced from Room and Board has been fair. The photo I've included shows the sagging, uneven cushion on one side of the sofa after sitting on it 3 days ago. Note the elevated left side; this consistently happens on both sides even after swapping the cushion to the opposite side. The replacement sofa has had about 1 month use and has done this since it was first delivered.

This is my fourth sofa purchase from Room and Board and it's another five star product. The leather is buttery soft and the sofa is so comfortable I can't pry my husband off it. It doesn't have that shiny leather look but looks almost like it's suede. I've received several compliments in the few weeks I've had it. I highly recommend it.
