Metro

We purchased this sofa five years ago. The purchase and delivery experiences were excellent. Staff were professional in every aspect. The disappointment has come with the quality of the cushions. I have years of experience in the interior design and furniture businesses and the quality for the price point is not there. The seat cushions are completely flat having lost any ability to provide support or structure. The back cushions feel non-existent. If these were full down cushions I would have different expectations but give the amount of foam I find this unacceptable.

Great purchase. Sofa is comfortable, well built, and seems like it will last a long time.

So far I am very happy, the sofa is very solid and amazing quality. The color is exactly as expected. I got the color mori ink. I have not had any shedding of feathers at all. It definitely needs to be broken in, but I have high hopes that it will be super comfy once it is. The sofa I tried in the showroom was soooo comfy and perfect. For now it is pretty firm. I like how it is low enough to the ground that my cats cannot go under it. Also, I have not witnessed my cats try to scratch it at all.

Purchased a metro sofa, it arrived ahead of schedule and has been great. Comfortable, good condition, fits the room well and seems like it will hold up for a long time. Very satisfied. #sweepstakes

The fabric is great quality, and the sofa is just so comfortable. And it looks so beautiful as well. We opted for the deeper seat because we are such a tall family, and it's perfect.

We absolutely love the metro couch. Get the deep version! The chaise is fantastic for lounging and it does hold me and my husband comfortably. The fabric and filling very high quality. We have not noticed pilling or down coming out, maybe because our fabric is a woven texture. Easy to clean as well! For reference the fabric is Kessler olive with mocha legs

Such a wonderful couch. It fits our space well. It's comfortable and will last us for many years.

I love love love this couch! You can feel how well it's constructed, it's solid. The cushions are just the right amount of firmness that makes you feel supported at the same time super cozy. This thing is more comfortable than my bed. Highly recommend.

I did a lot of on line research with different companies before purchasing this sofa. After visiting the Room and Board showroom where I found the staff friendly and patient, I eventually settled on the Metro. I'm so happy with this purchase. The sofa is comfortable and the perfect color. This is the first sofa I've purchased that is exactly what I wanted.

We purchased a large Metro sectional (~ $6000) less than a year ago, and have been really disappointed in the quality. The cushions are forever lumpy, despite rotating/fluffing them weekly and unzipping the cover to manually "declump" the tons of lumpy spots. This started happening within just months of receiving the couch, and despite really gentle use— it's even occurred on cushions we never sit on. Some of the cushions are also slightly misshapen, so the bottom never looks straight/flush with the couch frame. The seams also started fraying/pilling within a short period. Between the cushions constantly looking misshapen and lumpy and the seam issue, the couch perpetually looks messy and cheap. We never had such issues with other couches from "lesser" stores, even after years. I expected much higher quality from Room and Board. I had done ample research before purchasing, and saw reviews mentioning Metro couches lasting 10+ years. Those days must be over.
