Vienna

We were fortunate to get the Vienna 100" leather sofa on sale in upgraded Pesaro mink after originally purchasing a 101" fabric Cade, which quickly proved uncomfortable. Even though the cost difference for leather (even on sale) was significantly more, as dog owners, I think we made the right choice. The Vienna has a clean modern look but is also quite comfortable for longer sits and binge watching TV. No pesky back cushions that lose shape and push you off the couch. The back fitted cushion slants back just enough to relax with a firm balanced bounce that supports you as you do. The seat cushions were bit too firm initially but after 4+ weeks they are breaking in nicely; medium soft yet supportive sit. While only an 1" shorter than the Cade in length, it's much less overpowering in our smallish family room while also adding quite a bit more internal space. 4 people could easily sit without touching and my 6' husband can lay down with his head propped on a pillow, legs fully stretched out without touching me sitting on the other end. The 23" seat depth offers plenty of room to curl your legs under or lay down, no problem. At 5'2, my feet don't reach the ground without a pillow (common issue for me) but I use a footrest on my side when watching TV and lounging. The leather is gorgeous, buttery soft, even toned and pet friendly. While it's too early to know how the Vienna will hold up over time, knowing it's made by McCreary, gives be added piece of mind. (McCreary is the same manufacturer as the Metro and Jasper - two of the highest rated R&B sofas in terms of longevity.) With care, I'm hoping we are set for many years to come.
