Really beautiful

The leather on this piece is beautiful. I got the Urbino Smoke and love the color. On one hand the piece is a little narrow in the long direction for an ottoman, so I feel a little cramped. However, the larger size wouldn't have been right for our small living room area. This size looks really good so I'm sure I will adjust to the narrowness. Pulled away from the sofa, this piece is a great seat for guests. The leather is warm to the touch and keeps my legs cozy. I like the firmness of the piece as I know it will hold up and not get frumpy looking.

I ordered this to pair with a Sanna chair. It's a great height and the two compliment one another well.
There are reviews here that say that imprints are left in the leather top when used.
I've found this to be true, but also have found that simply smoothing with my hand takes care of it!
The delivery people from Room and Board were very nice. And I have no complaints about the delivery.
My complaint is this, Room and Board doesn't deliver on Mondays(my day off) they deliver Tuesday - Saturday. This would be fine, but it required me to take a day off. I requested a morning delivery( before noon) the second time I got a delivery from them ( I had two deliveries total)
It was difficult to arrange, and involved me speaking to the sales person, Store manager and then asking for the district manager.
I explained that I could not miss another day of work and had to leave home by 12:30.I don't think it's unreasonable to ask for furniture to be delivered in a 3 hour window.
It shouldn't be that hard for a customer to request a delivery window that is convenient for them as well as Room and Board!

We like the size, weight, and look of the ottoman, but are disappointed that it takes some work to massage the dents out after using it. We would recommend it, but would wish for a more resilient memory foam inside the top layer.

Had two R&B cube style ottomans in my last house and we used them every day for lifting our legs and extra seating. When we bought a FL house, I got two for down there. They serve the same purposes. Only wish the cube style (rather than "Lind" round) were still available.
Delivery was right on schedule and the guys were GREAT!

A slightly different Ottoman

I needed an additional seat for Thanksgiving for a large party. I had a square black leather ottoman with storage already and wanted something slightly different that would be convenient and stand out. This is on wheels, is light, is sturdy, and can be rolled out for extra guest to sit on or rolled back out of the way. The delivery guys put on the wheels and left also the feet, in case I want it to not roll. I love the design of this black leather Ottoman, very modern and a nice complement to the more ordinary square Ottomans. Good price for the style and the convenience, if more expensive than my square one by two :)

I used this to replace the ottoman that came with my husband's recliner. I won't say the brand name, but I will say that it was expensive, it is VERY comfortable and I really dislike the legs on the recliner. I was looking at the Room and Board catalog and I saw a picture showing a Boden chair in combination with this leather ottoman. It inspired me to buy the ottoman and pair it with the husband's recliner. It looks wonderful! Because it sits in front of his chair, it completely obscures any view of the base of his recliner. It looks so much better to me now, and the husband is happy I kept his recliner.

This ottoman replaced a very high quality but bulky older one. The old one matched a set of club chairs that will be gone next month. We have new ones coming that are just as comfortable but of a much smaller scale. My laptop computer "lives" on the ottoman when I'm not using it (and when we don't have guests) and it all works out just fine. The wheels are wonderful. Even our cleaning ladies commented on how easy it was to move for vacuuming. We've had it a month or so now have no issues with buyers' remorse. Nice job here, Room and Board. We'll be back.
