We've always bought hard-topped coffee tables for our family/TV room. When the marble top of our Blu Dot coffee table got cracked (ok, I tripped over an extension cord and sat down hard on it) we shopped around for a replacement. We bought the ottoman in leather to use as a coffee table in front of our 80 inch sofa. It's beautiful but a bit to tall. We are changing out the legs to the thicker style which is 16 inches instead of 17.
